Zoha Global Solutions is a software development company based at Alfoz Plaza, Gerji, in Addis Ababa. We build web platforms, e-learning systems, ERP and CRM tooling, and workflow automation for Ethiopian organisations, and we run outsourced support and data operations for clients in Ethiopia and the United States.
What we build
Two kinds of work, and most clients eventually want both. The first is software: web applications, e-learning platforms, institutional websites, internal systems, and the ERP and CRM tooling that holds a growing operation together. The second is running the process itself - support desks, approvals queues, records and data work - from our team in Addis Ababa.
That combination is unusual and it is the honest description of what we do. A hospital that needs a website usually also needs someone to keep patient records in order. A US software company that needs development help usually also needs someone answering its customers. We are set up for both halves.
Concretely, the work falls into these areas:
- Web applications and platforms - including a full e-learning system with course hosting, assessments and student management
- Institutional websites for hospitals, clinics and colleges, built to be maintainable by non-technical staff
- ERP and CRM implementation, plus the data cleaning that has to happen before either is worth using
- Workflow automation - mapping a manual process, cutting the handoffs, then automating what genuinely repeats
- AI integration where it earns its keep, including data annotation and dataset preparation for machine-learning teams
- Outsourced operations: customer support, call centre, medical prior authorization, data entry
What building software in Ethiopia actually involves
Most software advice on the internet assumes conditions Ethiopian businesses do not have. Reliable power, cheap bandwidth, a card-payment culture, and a Latin-script-only interface are all assumptions baked into the default way things get built. Ignoring that is how a project ships and then fails in use.
The constraints we design around by default:

Work we have actually delivered
Thirteen projects, and we would rather list them plainly than describe them as transformative. Five are websites and platforms for Addis Ababa institutions. Six are operations delivered from Addis Ababa for clients in the United States. Two are process engagements where the deliverable was a working queue rather than a codebase.

Each project has its own page with the detail. We do not publish client quotes or percentage-improvement figures, because we have not been given permission for the first and have not measured the second rigorously enough to print.
How to judge us, and anyone else
Choosing a software firm in Ethiopia is hard partly because most of the marketing is interchangeable. Everyone is leading, innovative and client-focused. Some questions that actually separate firms:
- Ask to see something running in production, used daily by someone who is not a developer.
- Ask who maintains it after launch, and what that costs. A cheap build with no maintenance path is the expensive option.
- Ask what they would refuse to build. A firm that says yes to everything has no opinion worth paying for.
- Ask how they handle the constraints above - connectivity, script, calendar, payments. Vague answers mean they have not hit these problems yet.
- Ask for the team who will actually do the work, not the team in the pitch.
- Check their third-party profiles and verified client portfolio history.
